HOME FOOTBALL GAMES

What

Need Money?

Your student typically will not need money for home football games.

Getting There

If you’re attending the game, it’s a good idea to carpool with other parents to cut down on congestion.

Parking

Parking is very tight during home football games. If you’re just dropping students off, you can do so in the circle in front of the RBHS Performing Arts Center. If you’re attending the game you will be directed to park either in the RBHS lot, the BHMS lot or on the street if all spaces are full. For parking overflow, Use the Student Parking lot, accessed from Avenida Venusto east of Paseo Lucido.

Can My Student Drive Him/Herself?

Yes, if your student is a licensed driver and has parent permission – but be aware that parking is difficult at home football games.

Can I Watch?

Parents are encouraged to come to as many home football games as possible. Yes, parents must pay to get into all football games. Royal Regiment parents wear the blue Royal Regiment colors and sit on the east end of the field near the band.

What do I need to know as a parent?

Watching the band perform at home football games gives parents a chance to witness the incredible progress our students make over the course of marching season. In the early games the band only performs a selection or two from the field show. As the season progresses the entire field show is revealed and marching/music evolves into a cohesive display. Your attendance signals support to our students and if you like football, you can add one more day to your weekend viewing!

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed for a variety of events throughout the school year and you can sign up online. Ask a Band Booster board member or committee chair how you can help for a single day or multiple activities throughout the band season.
