  • Band students in full under-uniform attire. Students will change into uniforms in the band room.
  • Black marching shoes and black socks

Need Money?

If you are ordering photos, remember to bring your photo order form and payment. Order forms are handed out by Mr. Otani in music classes. If you haven’t seen the order form, ask your student or dig around in their backpack!

Getting There

Get acquainted with band parents that live in your area. Arranging carpools cuts down on number of pick-ups/delivery for everyone and saves on gas, wear and tear on car/parent.

Parking

Park in the RBHS parking lot. You can drop students off in the circle in front of the Performing Arts Center, but do not park there.

Can My Student Drive Him/Herself?

Yes, if your student is a licensed driver and has parent permission.

Can I Watch?

Parents are encouraged to maintain a respectable distance from the band and the photographer. With the volume of students being photographed in the short amount of time, it is important that the photographer is able to complete the work with no distractions.

What do I need to know as a parent?

Professional photos are taken of the full Royal Regiment group, Color Guard, and Percussion sections as well as individuals and “band buddies.” Photos are taken of each instrument section by parent volunteers. The professional photos are submitted for use in tournament programs for events where we are participating. Instrument section photos will be used in our RBHS Field Show Tournament program and on the RBHS Music website!

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are always needed and you can sign up online. Ask a Band Booster board member or committee chair how you can help for a single day or multiple activities throughout the band season.
