The student leadership team is a dynamic group that serves and promotes the Rancho Bernardo Royal Regiment.

Band Council Members, Drum Majors, and Section Leaders are selected each spring for the upcoming school year. Students applying for a leadership position should be a member in good standing with the program, musically proficient (grade level or higher) and a strong model of the character. The Leadership Team will be announced prior to summer break.

The Leadership Team will serve as mentors and advocates for all members in the program. The Leadership Team has many responsibilities throughout the year including: answering member questions, helping with music and marching, helping with instrument checkout, taking attendance, running sectionals, managing lockers, volunteering when help is needed, and communicating section needs to the directors. If you have an suggestion or concern, please talk to Mr. Otani, Mr. Christy, or your section leader and we will address any concerns you have in our weekly Leadership Team meetings.
